近日一份新的报告显示，谷歌将在印度制造Pixel9系列智能手机，计划出口至美国和欧盟，并且生产将很快开始，合作厂商是印度最大的手机代工厂商迪克森（DixonTechnologies）。

此前行业曾表示，今年第二季度迪克森就开始试产了谷歌的Pixel8手机，试产效果获得了谷歌的认可，因此谷歌把Pixel9新机的订单，也发放给了迪克森。

为了因应印度市场的政策，谷歌承诺在印度加快本士制造比例，与迪克森的合作，是谷歌实现印度制造的重要举措。谷歌预计首批在印度生产的Pixel8手机将在今年第三季度推出，最早可在九月份推出初步产品。而迪克森为谷歌建成了月产能为100万部手机的生产线。

谷歌手机此前主要由台湾仁宝和鸿海生产，谷歌为了实现印度制造，除了下单给鸿海的印度富士康外，还摄合台湾康宝与迪克森合作，为迪克森生产谷歌手机提供设备、材料配套供应以及生产技术支持等。

而迪克森也被业界称为“印度的鸿海”，全印度每3台冷气、洗衣机，就有1台是迪克森制造，近年更跨足手机，目前代工了全印度15%的手机。

迪克森此前是摩托罗拉印度市场的代工厂商，后来因为承接小米手机的代工订单，产能迅速拉起来。迪克森在2021年拿到莫迪政府鼓勵製造業的現金補貼之後，开始快速扩厂，手机产能从一个月200万支，快速拉升到400万支。去年小米订单不断增加后，生产的智能手机就达到500万至600万部，由于手机业务的红火，推动去年财政年度收入增加近50%。

今年以来，由于印度与中国针对国产品牌手机和富士康在中国产能退出的不同政策影响，小米加快了把印度手机代工转移给印度本土厂商如迪克森的速度，而作为富士康从中国撤出苹果手机产能转向印度制造的惩罚，则要求国产品牌手机减少跟富士康的合作，国产品牌正在砍掉大部分印度富士康的订单。

有消息称，受包括小米在内的国产品版订单流失，印度富士康跟小米合作的工厂近期不得不对产线进行清退，把愿意重新安排的人员调往苹果生产线的工厂，不愿重新安排的员工则只能解散。目前这些工厂几乎处于停产状态。下一步富士康会不会关门这些工厂，退出当地的制造业，目前还有待观察。

而在小米等中国国产品牌，以及谷歌手机的加持下，迪克森的手机代工产能还将增加，预计从今年的产能将进一步提升至850万部。

In response to the policies of the Indian market, Google has pledged to accelerate the proportion of manufacturing in India, and the cooperation with Dixon is an important step for Google to achieve manufacturing in India. Google expects the first Pixel8 phones manufactured in India to launch in the third quarter of this year, with initial products available as early as September. Dixon has built a production line with a monthly production capacity of 1 million mobile phones for Guge.

In order to achieve manufacturing in India, in addition to placing an order for Foxconn of India for Hon Hai, Google also cooperated with Dixon to provide equipment, material supply and production technical support for Dixon's production of Google mobile phones.

Dixon is also known as "India's Hon Hai" in the industry, every 3 air conditioners and washing machines in India, 1 is made by Dixon, and in recent years, it has stepped into mobile phones, and currently OEM 15% of mobile phones in India.

Dixon was previously a foundry manufacturer of Motorola in the Indian market, and later quickly increased its production capacity because of the OEM orders for Xiaomi mobile phones. After receiving a cash subsidy from the Modi government in 2021 to encourage the manufacturing industry, Dixon began to rapidly expand the factory, and the production capacity of mobile phones increased from 2 million a month to 4 million. Xiaomi produced 5 million to 6 million smartphones after increasing orders last year, driving revenue up nearly 50 percent in last fiscal year due to the boom in the mobile phone business.

Since the beginning of this year, due to the impact of different policies between India and China on domestic brand mobile phones and Foxconn's production capacity withdrawal in China, Xiaomi has accelerated the transfer of Indian mobile phone OEM to local Indian manufacturers such as Dixon, and as a punishment for Foxconn to withdraw Apple's mobile phone production capacity from China to Indian manufacturing, it requires domestic brand mobile phones to reduce cooperation with Foxconn, and domestic brands are cutting most of Foxconn's orders.

It is reported that due to the loss of orders for domestic product versions, including Xiaomi, the factory cooperated with Foxconn and Xiaomi in India had to clear the production line recently, and transferred the personnel who were willing to rearrange to the factory of Apple's production line, and the employees who were unwilling to rearrange could only be disbanded. At present, these plants are almost out of production. It remains to be seen whether Foxconn will close these factories and withdraw from the local manufacturing industry in the next step.

With the blessing of Chinese domestic brands such as Xiaomi, as well as Google's mobile phones, Dixon's mobile phone OEM production capacity will also increase, and it is expected to further increase from this year's production capacity to 8.5 million units.
