天马官微发布的内容显示，2024年6月26日，厦门天马光电子有限公司、天马新型显示技术研究院（厦门）有限公司共同举办产品点亮活动。
活动现场点亮了10.25英寸车载仪表显示屏、23.8英寸高品质显示屏以及7.5英寸Micro-LED显示屏，标志着天马第8.6代新型显示面板产线和Micro-LED产线正式进入试产试制的新阶段。
天马表示，2022年，为顺应车载、IT等显示大屏化、多屏化、规格多元化的发展趋势，丰富产品层次与组合，进一步提升产能配置，同时也为紧跟下一代显示技术发展趋势，前瞻布局Micro-LED显示产业，加快实现全球领先战略目标，天马携手厦门同步开始建设第8.6代新型显示面板产线和Micro-LED产线。
经过13年的深耕发展，目前天马在厦门已拥有5条产线，形成a-Si、IGZO、LTPS、AMOLED、Micro-LED等新型显示技术全覆盖的产业布局。
自2011年以来，天马与厦门同心协力、共赢发展，逐步建成规模超千亿、主流显示技术全覆盖的高水平显示产业布局，已成为央地合作典范。
其中厦门天马光电子第8.6代新型显示面板生产线，由厦门天马与合作方国贸控股、轨道集团、金圆集团投建，总投资330亿元，是全球首条专精于中小显示领域的高世代生产线，采用a-Si（非晶硅）与IGZO（氧化物半导体材料）技术双轨并行的策略，项目将聚焦车载显示、IT显示、工业品显示、手机显示等应用市场，规划月产能12万大张面板。
天马新型显示技术研究院作为天马研发Micro-LED技术的攻坚平台，致力于建设全制程Micro-LED产线，打通Micro-LED核心工艺。该生产线计划于今年年底贯通，明年小批量生产。研究院目前正联合厦门大学、嘉庚实验室等单位，以产学研协同推动关键技术攻关。
特别是在Micro-LED领域，天马自2017年布局MicroLED显示技术领域，聚焦高PPI、高亮度、高透明MicroLED显示技术，以玻璃基有源驱动MicroLED显示为技术路线，先后发布高透明、无缝拼接、透明可调、超低反透明、超高PPI等行业领先的MicroLED显示屏。
同步依托天马全球领先的LTPSTFT背板技术，正在建设从巨量转移到显示模组的全制程MicroLED产线，将于2024年6月实现自主巨量转移技术点亮，年底实现全制程贯通。天马牵头组织建立了行业首个MicroLED生态联盟，持续与业内同盟探讨MicroLED的应用与未来，推动产业集聚发展，实现共创共赢。

After 13 years of deep cultivation, Tianma currently has 5 production lines in Xiamen, forming an industrial layout with full coverage of new display technologies such as a-Si, IGZO, LTPS, AMOLED, and Micro-LED.
Since 2011, Tianma and Xiamen have worked together for win-win development, and gradually built a high-level display industry layout with a scale of over 100 billion yuan and full coverage of mainstream display technologies, which has become a model of cooperation between the central government and the local government.
Among them, Xiamen Tianma Optoelectronics 8.6 generation new display panel production line, by Xiamen Tianma and its partners ITG Holdings, Rail Group, Jinyuan Group investment, a total investment of 33 billion yuan, is the world's first high-generation production line specializing in the field of small and medium-sized displays, using a-Si (amorphous silicon) and IGZO (oxide semiconductor materials) technology dual-track parallel strategy, the project will focus on vehicle display, IT display, industrial display, mobile phone display and other application markets, planning a monthly production capacity of 120,000 large panels.
As a platform for Tianma to develop Micro-LED technology, Tianma New Display Technology Research Institute is committed to building a full-process Micro-LED production line and opening up the core process of Micro-LED. The line is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, with small batches next year. At present, the institute is cooperating with Xiamen University, Jiageng Laboratory and other units to promote key technology research with industry-university-research collaboration.
Especially in the field of Micro-LED, Tianma has laid out the field of MicroLED display technology since 2017, focusing on high PPI, high brightness, and high transparency MicroLED display technology, and taking glass-based active drive MicroLED display as the technical route, and has successively released industry-leading MicroLED displays such as high transparency, seamless splicing, transparent adjustable, ultra-low anti-transparent, and ultra-high PPI.
